Tuckered

It has been an exhausting couple of weeks. My job, which is soon to be another man's job, has extracted a toll beyond the ordinary grinding, soul-numbing labor of late. Dealing with the halt and the lame has entered into a new level of violent savagery, a crisis which brought out less than enviable qualities in several associates. Privacy concerns and ordinary decency prohibit disclosure of the details, but suffice it to note that the Dean of Students and I were exchanging emails about a potentially dangerous problem around 11 last night.

Meanwhile, I did have the pleasure of attending the opening of a decent exhibition at a new artists' residency space in Dallas last Saturday. Sponsored by UT-Dallas, Centraltrak may prove to be a major part of the urban and aesthetic scene. Time will tell, but I have high expectations. And Charissa Terranova, the program's director, looked great in her micro minidress and her state o' Texas cowgirl boots.

I'll try to post more soon, but for now this will have to do.
